Hans was born and raised in Davos, Switzerland. He was an avid ski racer since childhood as well a member of the Swiss Ski Federation and a licensed Swiss ski instructor. He was a Rocky Mountain Masters Ski Racer, providing leadership on and off the course.

You are sorely missed, my friend.
